Anyone have Christmas tree worms in their reef?

I used to see people years ago post pics here but haven't seen any in a while. Imo they are one of the coolest reef additions but i haven't personally kept them.

I have one, but it's not as nice as it used to be. You can't get them anymore because of the ban on importing coral.

Just when you think you can get one, it says "out of stock". I have seen them on ebay, but they are not cheap.

Love the reef in Wilmington used to have two rocks covered in the worms. Don’t know if they still do

I've generally found them very hard to keep long term. IMO/IME they need regular feedings of very finely divided food particles. It's also difficult to spot feed them as they freak when a lot of food comes down on them too fast. In the end you may have to feed so much to the tank you end up with a pretty high nutrient load and other things in your tank may not do well as a result (algae blooms, etc.).
