I was given the ok to turn the kids play room into my man cave and the wife came up with the idea to put a salt water tank in the wall behind my bar. Ive been out of the hobby for about 10 yrs and this is my go at a 75 gallon reef tank with 55 gallon sump. Have always had a love of bonsai trees tries to incorporate that into my build..

Cool build & cool bar!

Are you planning to add more rock to the sump to increase the bio capacity?

Yes I planned on live rock in the drain chamber with the skimmer... still no water in the tank been piecing the tank together little at a time... trying to practice patience

That... is... freaking..... awesome! I gotta finish my basement for this reason! My wife is already hooked and wouldn't mind me doing a set up up Dong! Just need to finish the basement, then get the frag tanks going, etc. etc. etc.

I used 1/2" acrylic rod gorilla super glue gel and reef puddy.... it's all reef saver rock I cut and chiseled to shape. I know it will take longer to seed but the way I see it is I'd rather wait to look at something I want than throw it all together quickly.... the rock structure is supposed to be a bonsai tree I plan on placing hammers and torches on the shelves and grooming zoas along the "trunks" with gsp on the rocks exposed at the base.....
