Just some late night thoughts and looking at the tank. So this time around with my current tank I have running has been my most successful as far as health and growth of acros.

Just curious on opinions if the growth is about normal or slower than normal ect. The tank is just reaching 6 months old and starting to hit strides in stability. The Growth is may 8th compared to a shot from tonight and Sorry for the blue shots just a late night thought as I was looking at them

If anybody else has growth shots of a similar time span, please do share. Always enjoy shots of acropora ect.

Never had long term success as I always tried with smaller tanks and something parameter wise would swing and wreak havoc when I slacked off.

Just happy to have any growth at all and never really knew what is considered as quick/good growth. Appreciate the feedback.

And the tank is 6 months old but was a upgrade from a nano to a reefer 250 so not completely new. Mostly new rock and new sand.

Figured I’d update this with another months worth of progress and use this thread to document growth. Experimenting this past month with nitrates up around 10 and phosphates around .08 on average of weekly testing where previous was 2-5 and phos as .04. Havent noticed much of a difference as far as growth or color.

That millepora is fantastic.

Thank you! I love the polyp extension it always has. It’s a sunset Mille I got as a frag from @Aros little while back as the tank was too young but has been taking off as of late.

Got that fox flame at the same time that you see in the top of of the first pic as well and similar story for that exploding in growth.

Close up on this one, does anyone have an id to this coral? I gave it moderate par (roughly 275) in my tank and it has really started to get some nice color beyond just the deep green it was when I first got it and polyp extension is getting insane.
