After almost 4 years, my amazing tank (which I love) has cracked and is leaking...
I mean don’t get me wrong I love aquaria! I’ve consistently had either a freshwater brackish or salt water tank for the past 35 years and will continue to do so I could never give it up
it’s still disappointing none the less that I have to more basically start over. I mean most of the plants in that tank started off as bulbs and that’s prize-winning driftwood and I actually managed to get moss growing all over it and it looks amazing in addition to a lot of modifications to the trim to accommodate different lighting and custom fitting the UV sterilizer and CO2 fixtures.
I
think the modification to cleanly fit the arm mounts for the LED fixture is what cracked it The nylon lag bolts may have been a quarter turn too tight. but that seems to be the source of the crack and it goes all the way down to the bottom
oh well I am looking forward to my next endeavor going to keep an eye on the market space Fourm.
