Anyone using a plug in humidty switch?

Never tried one, but seeing that link I'm about to order one to try :)

*Just need to double check to be sure that my AC will turn on properly if the power source is cut off vs turning it off via the on/off button*
 
That's a good idea. As a workaround for a humidity sensor, I used a temperature sensor similar to this Amazon Temp Sensor to measure the air in the stand. It's a geekier solution, but it's been serving its purpose so far. I have it hooked up to a computer fan in the back of my stand. Keeps it cool and dry, and doesn't come on that too often.
 
hi not sure if I have an answer for you but I am curious what the impetus is for it. Are you having mold issues or are there other reasons?
