I know not to chase # and to go on how the tank looks (Which it is thriving) but here are a few questions So lately I have been having my ORP creep up over 450. At this time I have very little algae in the display and just about 0 in the sump. I have a PH probe in the tank which located in one of the overflows. PH at peak lighting hours will go up above 8.50. The PH probe in my sump will will go as 8.10 +/- ( I run a reversed schedule fuge light also) I have calibrated my PH probes in the last 4 months. So here is my questions. 1. does anyone else have an elevated ORP above the recommended 250-450Mv?
2. Does anyone else have a tank which is running sucessfully at these elevated numbers?
3. Do you think it may be time to replace my PH probe in the display and my ORP probe in my sump? ORP is like 2 years old and PH probe is like 1.5 years old?
4. Should I ignore this concern and just let it do what it is doing?
