Berlin Skimmer Question ?

Does any one have one , I got one back from my son an I want to use it on a 125. BUT NO INSTRUCTIONS, I know I need a pump (got it) now from SUMP to PUMP to hose on the bottom of SKIMMER, o.k. NOW we have 2 OUTLETS on the TOP whats up w/that. an a small foot long tube w/ outlet/inlet to the skimmer cup, I believe for over flow? Im gessing on that one.any ways heres a pic of the unit, an if you can help ( I defenetly need it)

Bottom pipe is for the pump. Use mag7 or equivalent. Top pipes are where the water
flows from.

I used one for a while. My opinion, a waste of time. Very difficult to clean properly. My would either produce nothing, or overfill.

Back in the day I had good results using a SEN 700 on one of these skimmers. Red Sea is currently packaging a needle-wheel impeller style pump with these guys. I guarentee it improves the performance.

I agree with Greg that the are difficult to clean and severely over-rated at 250 gallons.
