My Algae Blenny has found himself a nice comfy bed in my large solomon island mushroom.
Every night for the past few weeks when the the lights start to dim this is where he goes
He stays there as the lights turn to all Blues and obviously the mushroom is not appreciating being turned into a bed
And as you can see this butt head stays there till dark, I had to shine a flashlight on him to take a pic of him actually laying down and the mushroom is now less than half its original size with no polyps extended.
This is really one of my favorite corals that I grew from a tiny frag so I sure hope this does not stress it out too much.
This is what it looked like 10 months ago so it's come a long long way
I actually find it kinda funny and the mushroom comes back to it's full size and polyp extension every morning by the time the lights come on so guessing he only stays for a short time after lights out so no real damage done
