Hi All.

I have these 2 blue sponges for sale that have grown from my mother sponge.

They are already attached to substrate.

These sponges are NOT AFFECTED by short exposure to air (see external coating like a bright film in the pictures) and they are difficult to find. In my tank they grow without any problem.

The color is intense.

You have 2 sizes (see pictures). The small one $65 and the big one $99. You can take both for $150.

First 4 pictures is the small sponge 3+ inches. Next posting is the big sponge 5+ inches.

I can cut the big sponge or another piece from the mother sponge ( ~ $30 - $50 depending on size). But they will not be attached to a substrate. I tried to glue the sponge and I always failed.

The best, is to place the sponge in the tank, in a place that DOES NOT MOVE, over a small piece of rock, AND AFTER SOME WEEKS, the sponge will attach to it. You need to be patient.

Cheers

Dear All

In case you are thinking in offering some coral trade, I would kindly tell you that I can not accept any trade because I have decided years ago to avoid any new addition to the tank.

After my second tank crash, my decision was "no more changes". And that included 0 new corals.

The tank has been working in that way very well

I hope you all understand.

Cheers

The small $65 dollar sponge was sold.

The big $99 sponge is unsold yet. But I can cut it and sell the piece attached to the stone for $60 (Bigger piece) and the other piece for $40.

I have a request for 3 small pieces that I will cut from the mother colony. One will be picked up today. The other 2 I have not received any answer yet after sending the PMs.

I will keep this post updated.

Thank you very much for your interest on this sponge. It is really beautiful. Adds a strong touch of blue color to the tank.
