Hey!

So I have a successful brine shrimp and tisbe copepod hatchery going which I have been using to feed our Mandarin Dragonets; they are doing well with eating live brine and pods, all are looking fat and happy. Has anyone used Daphnia Magna as a live food? If so, how did/does it compare to brine shrimp and which do you prefer more? :)

My biggest issue with BBS is that once they've hatched they loose a lot of their nutritional value quickly. I've been looking at trying to start a Daphnia culture just haven't had the time lately been too busy at work...

How quickly do they loose nutritional value?
