Hi, I have a 10 gallon nano. I didn't even think about it but it is on the first floor living room which doesn't get ac'ed all summer. Does anyone have experience keeping a 10 gallon cool? Would I be ok with a fan? I just have LEDs and that side of the house is in shade for the most part.

Thanks

I don’t think it will be that bad. A fan on a temperature switch would work.

Think of it this way... maybe two months to worry about that. The weather outside needs to be above 80 degrees for 3+ hours for it to really affect the tank. Most nights will cool it down. Keep easier corals and fish and you should be fine manually turning on a fan or programming a fan to a timer for the mid day.

Just like Tim said above. Any fan will help you out.

I agree that a fan across the top of the tank should be adequate...
