Cant speak on maximas as mine hasnt grown too quickly. But the sqammosa grows very fast. It was only 3" long last year. Its easily 5.5"+ now

Squamosa that I got at about 1" now it's football sized, sorry about the camera hog fish but u can still see the clam

I really like the pattern on yours. We all have a camera hog haha. My yellow tang constantly hogs the camera lol

In about 5 months mine has grown 1.5 inches
