YesI know it’s live planted and yes I know this is a coral thread in a reefers site (please don’t yell at me...much ) I’m saving up for another SW reef tank.

That being said , I’ve been trying to avoid dosing CO2, not necessarily because Of the added expense. Because they’re not exactly set it and forget it systems. From what I read the valve needs constant attention. And CO2 dumping is also a consideration which can be tragic. I can’t seem to find a regulator that doesn’t have at least one problem...some of them aren’t strong enough, some of them overheat, some of them the needle valve fails, some of them the gauge is it too small.

I’ve been using this neat little system from Germany and CO2 tablets it’s pretty simple and I thought was effective however my gauge still registers as low and I’ve been given the gauge to three hours to accurately register. My PH is pretty low at this point it’s around 6.0 maybe 6.2. Even the 300+ regulators seem to be reviewing lukewarm any suggestions?
