Started working on my 150. Used vinegar to scrape off the old coralline algae. It’s pretty clean. Excuse the questions so early on a Saturday.
  • I still have to wipe it down and make sure the glass is clear.
  • How would I plug the overflow so I can rinse the tank at some point?
  • Also, I have to build a stand. Any good plans out there?
  • How clean does the tank have to be? If there are still really small flecks of coralline in places that I can’t access after the tank is rinsed is that ok?
  • Is it ok to clean the Skimz 40 sump with vinegar? I can’t scrape it as it is obviously plexiglass what would be the best way to make sure it is clean?

citric acid is a fav. of mine vinegar is good to clean the sump also.
Tank doesn't have to be pristine as long as you're happy
it looks like the overflo is built in so you can rinse tank out you dont have to fill it up.

Cant wait to see the finish project. Following the build
