Foxface nibbling on duncans

Anyone have a foxface that got a liking to coral ? I cut back on feeding and the foxface cleared out all of my bubble algea.
I couldn’t tell if it was cleaning around the coral or eating it. It’s the branching type of Duncan corals.
I put an algea sheet and he’s munching on it. I recently have not been feeding frozen to the fish to cut down nitrates. Only twice a week. Just seeing if anyone had this happen

I sold a fox face that had been a strict algae eater for years before turning rogue and killing a lobo, elegance and all my candy canes. I had to break up the aqua scape to finally remove him as he wouldn’t even approach a fish trap.

It is very common that a foxface will suddenly acquire a taste for LPS and zoas. After that, it will continue to eat them regardless if it is hungry or not. But it will be good for a SPS only tank as part of the cleanup crew. I will trade you some coral if you want to find it a new home.

Sounds good, I currently need one for one of my SPS frag tank.
