Has anyone bought fish from Petco.com?

The website, not the store.

Shipping is only $30 and their prices are waaaaay cheaper than LiveAquaria. For example, a copperband butterfly on petco.com is $36 and on LA they are $90-100. Same is true for lots of other fish as well. The petco.com selection is limited but they do have some good fish (for example: tangs, anthias, dragonettes).

The stores can bit a little or miss, sometimes the fish look good and sometimes they look terrible. Has anyone purchased from their website at petco.com and had either a good or a bad experience?

I usually have them bring in the fish to the store so I can watch it.

They drop ship their fish from the same wholesaler as Liveaquaria before Liveaquaria changed hand, again.
Also, Petco’s customer service is a lot better than the other one at least in the past year.

I have purchased fish from my local Petco, and they have been fine. I watch them for a couple of days first and have not had any problems. Unfortunately, they have not restocked since Covid.
