High School Classroom Nano Tank Build 2.0

It's been awhile since I posted but we have been busy!
The students have identified, researched and mounted all the coral donated by Credable Coral Labs in New London. Michael is a great guy and they have a great selection of frags. Check them out at https://credabelcoral.com!
We also got a donation from Andrew Perry from the facebook group. Thank you so much for the zoas, Hollywood stunner, birdnest and the star of tank with the students, a rainbow bubble tip new.
A couple weeks after the new was added our clownfish started hosting it, we were all so excited.
Our most recent challenge is to try to maintain a phytoplankton and copepod culture using the PhytoTank-L Kit from Posiedon Reef Systems (https://poseidonreefsystems.com/products/phytotank-complete-kit). Thanks so much for the support PRS!
We just set up our cultures and I so far I am extremely impressed with the kit. The packaging was great, everything was packed extremely well and everything arrived quickly with no damaged or mising parts. The parts are high quality and the instructions were clear and included helpful diagrams. We were able to setup the whole initial setup in one class period with no previous experience. Plus, this thing looks sweet! I have been telling my regular biology students we are growing baby aliens haha.
If anyone is interested in trading for some photo or pods please let me know. We need livestock and will have more than enough photo and pods (hopefully).
