How much flow through 1" overflow bulkhead?

I'm getting ready to dremel a hole in my 20 Gal to make way for a sump/fuge. I'm trying to figure out which bulkhead I need. How much flow can a 1" bulkhead handle for overflow? I'm thinking it should be plenty because I'll most likely have 1/2" returns through a sqwd driven by a mag3 or 5 with about 40" of head pressure.
What do you think, should I drill for the 1" or 1.5" bulkhead?

1 inch should be good for about 600 gph

yeah. for a 20 gallon you won't need any more than 600 gph which is what a 1" bulkhead will do.

Thanks, I was worried about snails figuring out a way to make there way down, but with 600 GPH that's more than double what will be running through it.

Which LFS keeps bulkheads in stock at a somewhat reasonable price?
