12 years ago I had a 75-gallon tank that was plumbed into a 75g sump the was trificated, protein filter sec #1, seahorse tank sec #2 , return pump sec #3. I made the mistake a using PVC ball valves instead of gated valves so when I needed to make 1/64 adjustment on water level pressure etc. I used to have to gently ever so gently tap the valve with I hobbyist rubber mallet. because a 1/4 turn a ball valve meant you had 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, overflow of tank and or sump... :))
