Looks like chiton to me. Chiton are great and eat algae.
You should ask Santa for 2 books for Christmas: Julian Sprung
Invertebrates: A Quick Reference Guide and corals a quick reference Guide.

It’s well made and explained with good pictures. So you don’t have to wait for an answer or at least it calms the stress you can get when you find something new in your tank.
