Has anyone bought live rock from KP Aquatics? I am looking to buy about 30lbs to seed some dry rock on a new build.

Any experience, good or bad?

Thanks

The gulf live rock from this Tuesday just at arrival
Both overnight shipping with wet paper. Kp is more porous and has great shapes and holes with sponges and tunicates, gulf is more boulder like with lots of plants, clams and at least 2 corals with some healthy tissue.
kp ships only in water now I think. A mix of both could be interesting.
just google both and look at videos, kp are great and willing try to fill your special request if you have any about size and shape if it’s possible.

If I were to do a tank from scratch again I’d definitely do KP rock, in water shipping, then let it sit in the tank for the 76 day disease fallow period with the cuc added. This way it saves and promotes all the good stuff before you add fish and you can “trap out” the stuff you find that you don’t want.

I've never bought their rock, but I have been buying livestock from kp aquatics since before they changed their name from sea life inc to KP aquatics. I've never once been disappointed.
