I just wanted to reach out to give you guys the info on the upcoming Frag Farmer's Market this coming March. It has become the biggest single day coral event in the area, and maybe the country. You will find more corals than any place should ever have in it, with a nice mix of hobbyists, shops and quite a few "big names" in the business in the mix too.

Thanks Albert for letting me post and I look forward to seeing you all at the FFM this year! If you need any other info, just let me know!
Thanks-
Jon

I'll be there, and while normally I'm happy for snow in New England so I can ski it, for this one day I hope there's not a monster storm.

Long shot but... I want to go but may not be able to depending on a few things, would anyone be able to show me some frags they have and bring them back? I’d obviously pay for the frags but just don’t know if I’ll be able to get down there

Tough to do with SO many vendors. If you can't make it (you should try!), your best bet might be to send someone with a wish list of corals you are looking for. You will find pretty much everything at the FFM. The only problem is that I always see things that I have never seen before and "need" even though I didn't know it until I saw it...

That's a great idea, if I can't make it and someone is willing to i will make a wishlist :) Thanks

If you're going to be there, I'm definitely going! I'm still amazed at the last purchase I made from you! My tank has never looked so good! I actually have blue coral that still looks blue in my tank too!

I'm planning on attending this event. For someone who has never attended such a thing. How does purchasing frags work? Obviously I intend to bring a cooler and all the necessary things to transport goodies home but am I lugging things around with me all day or do vendors typically hold them for a few hours... I need a quick "newbs guide to the frag market" :)

Some vendors will hold them for you after being paid for. I normally just bring a cooler with me and 90% of the time my wife carries it while I behave like a little kid in a candy store lol

Yeah like Technorch said, some will hold until you're ready to leave, some of the displays are so big I'm afraid to leave stuff there! You'll see everything from small 6 pack soft coolers to guys rolling giant Yetis around!

Maybe I should set up a "cooler babysitting station" where you could leave your cooler for the day and go shop. When you buy stuff, you can come back and drop it off.

That’s a good idea John. Like a coat check give them a ticket and tape half to the cooler. But then you would need a volunteer to watch it all day.
