The frame work is Aluminum and the corner pieces are plastic. No corrosion.

I did the same on my fluval evo 13.5. Keeps the tank looking sharp and you can't even tell it has a mesh top unless you look at it from the top view. However my mesh top rests on 4 clips. Where did you get those corner clips from? I'd like to make two tops and that kind of corner tab would be a perfect fit...Thanks in advanced...I made a version for rimless tanks where you can still have the rimless look and still have a mesh top. All you need to do different is buy the corners with the lip and instead of measuring the top of the tank you will measure the inside of the tank. You can see it in my thread.

Ya lol Cheapest you’ll find is jebao pumps. Dcp line is super quiet. I just ordered a Dcq 3500 so stoked to try this thing out it says it not gunna come in until after Christmas though. I do like the feature of being able to turn down the flow and I won’t have to worry about finding a gate...
