Odd Clownfish at Local Store

Labeled as a mid bar blood orange clownfish. I actually think she looks pretty cool. Thought I would share.

I’m tempted. She could be a permanent resident in my empty cycled 40 breeder. Already have a pair in my DT. Wanted maroons but they may not take kindly to anyone else who may go in the 40 even temporarily.

Maroon I used to have was a huge jerkoff.. had to give him away hah

I just went back and got her. :facepalm: such a different and interesting fish. Probably not see another one. Guy told me it’s an ORA misbar blood orange. (Maroon mom and ocy dad thru ORA) But it obviously got some mutant like markings and colors. I really like it.

I saw her a few times - very different, not like any other blood orange I've ever seen.

Never know with these "mutants", might be a different world/specimens that is unlocked that you are the sole keeper to... Or you just have a mutant haha. Nice pick up! I use that reference from a botany experience not a fish keeping experience!!!!
