Paly population control

What is the best way to control paly/zoa population? Could they sting SPS?

When I had my tank I would have a island just for zoas and palys and if they grew to much they would grow onto the sand. This helped with being able to brake them off and keep it all under control

I’m pretty sure they can or the let out a toxin that kills things.

Gaudy clown crab eats palys/zoas

i used to scrape them of the wall and suction them out with water changes. Got so bad I broke the tank down. Salvaged what I could for SPS/LPS and killed all of the rock; But I am extreme.

Pallys can suffocate/sting/outcompete SPSs and LPS. Its just important to stay on top of them....IMHO

The biggest problem with that rock is the meteor shower. That's going to take over the rock. Ask me how I know.
