Peppermint Shrimp & Jaw Fish

Hi all,

My peppermint shrimp keeps perching inside the pearly jawfish’s burrow. The jawfish doesn’t seem to mind too much but will recess pretty deep inside, but doesn’t show signs of aggression.

Anyone else have this happen? I target feed both so it’s not as though it’s blocking any food, but I do miss seeing the pearly perched outside. I’m just worried that the pearly is getting stressed because of it.

Should I try to keep the peppermint away or do you think this behavior is okay?

Tried to snag a picture but this was the best I could do:

I don't have the answer but if the jawfish is eating I wouldn't worry about it. I'm going to assume that if the jawfish has a problem with it he would move and then you would have your answer.

Agreed to the above statement. If the shrimp hasn't been made into food I personally wouldn't worry about it either...
