Okay, lets see if this works.
I took some pics last year of my infected Larry Jackson acropora. Then I manage to siphon out an acro mite and get it under my microscope.
First some shots of the infected coral:

Now some shots of the mites at 10x magnification. It's the gold dot right in the fork of the Y shaped algae. Still tough to see at 16x.

Increased the magnification to 60x.

Then I bumped the magnification up to 200x

Please excuse the rather poor quality of the images. The microscope is just a kid's toy, really.
 
Moe I've had that happen to me before also. RC does not alow you to link to phots they host :mad:
