Reef safe adhesive

You can always check the safety data sheet as it generally contains a section on ecotoxicity and effects on marine organisms.

In this case it suggests it can bioaccumulate in closed environments, and can be slightly toxic. So I’d avoid. You can also look around for the safety data sheet from other brands to get more information.

What are you trying to accomplish? There are a bunch of tried and true adhesives out there. One of thoses might be a better option out there for your project rather than taking a chance. Just a thought.

Thanks for the responses the msds sheets was a good idea I feel a little foolish not checking them myself. I’m planning a type 1 pvc sump with acrylic windows. I’m gonna heat weld but I’d like to glue first and I’ve read that pvc cement isn’t sufficient. I’ve used plexus before with good results. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx again guys.
