Reefer nano Build

Just picked up this Red Sea Reefer nano from @LoveTheReef today. Upgrade for my fluval evo! Super excited to get this up and running! Don’t mind the mess, in the middle of unpacking after our move. Evo is at my in laws and will be moving it tomorrow.

Lol yeah. It’s fully set up and we were living with my in-laws while I was finishing rehabbing our new place. So I was mostly able to maintain it.

It’s been up for about a year and a half. I’ll pm you a couple tonight, Aswell as a couple suggestions on what I would do a second time around. Might be time for a revamp of my rock work.

Just what is in my evo for now. With the light upgrade I may get some more light demanding corals down the road. We will see.

So the tank isn’t getting moved today... my wife decided she wanted the stand black.

Were you able to successfully keep SPS with the evos stock lighting? I’m setting up my evo again as a second tank and I’m not sure what I can keep under the lights.

My bad I missed the notification for this! Yes some basic stuff. None of the high end acros, it just doesn’t put out enough. I have a few montiporas, pocilopora, and pavonas. As well as one acro. Heres a pic of it now. It’s colored up a little since being under the ai hydra for a week.

All of that growth for the sps is under the stock evo lighting minus the past week.

Here’s an update. The new tank has been wet for a week. I have a kraken reef lid on order and need to do a few odds and ends to get it up and running properly. The ato plumbing is leaking and not stopping the flow so need to address that. But overall, very happy with how it’s coming along

The corals and I are loving the new hydra!
