Remove center stand brace

I have been considering changing out my sump so I have more room in my stand. In order to do that I would need to temporarily remove the center brace in my stand. I think if I prep it would only be removed for 30 mins then I could re install. Has anyone done this before? I would rather not empty my display if I don't have to. This is my tank.

Should be fine if using their stand. The Artisan II 110g that I have barely ever had the little brace that was designed for frontal support when my buddy owned the tank. I've since moved it off to the side as seen below.

Xtra messy, just the way we all like our fish rooms.

Yes it is their stand. I was thinking it would be fine. If your 110 is good I feel more comfortable about my 68.
