Well...yes and no. I agree with what's been said in that it is essentially free of any contaminants. When it first comes out of a still it should be pretty close to 0 TDS, but if you were to merely put a bit of it in a cup exposed to the air it will quickly start to absorb carbon dioxide from the ambient air and it will start to register on a TDS meter if you have an accurate/fairly low range meter. The same thing holds true for RO/DI water coming out of your purification system. Again, none of this matters, but the point is don't stick your TDS meter into some distilled water and freak if you pick up a small reading. It's just dissolved CO2 that has formed a track amount of carbonic acid and therefore will allow a tiny bit of electrical current to flow through it (what your TDS meter does).
