I woke up this morning to find that my carpet anenome wedged itself between the rock work and pulled half my tanks rockscape down. A large piece rock fell right into the front glass.
Luckily the glass didn't crack and the carpet anenome didn't get crushed. Imagine the cleanup from eathier of those scenarios. I just reworked the rocks and hate the way it looks. It'll probably take me a few tries to get it right.

That must be one large carpet anemone !!!

Yeah the carpet is about twelve inches in diameter when fully extended.

eek. Scary stuff. Someone here on the board apparently got his tank nuked by a carpet anemone that got crushed and died.

I remember seeing that thread and could only imagine how much damaged a crushed carpet would do to my tank.
Then again I would prefer cleaning out the tank rather than clean 65 gal off my floor!! Thank the lord.
