Ok so many moons ago on I had a float switch in my skimmer cup hooked to an Apex to shut the skimmer off if the cup filled up preventing it from overflowing back into the tank.
Now I have no controller on this tank but today I got some salt creep in the airline for the skimmer and it overflowed into the tank. Luckily I had just cleaned it a couple days ago so there wasn't a lot in it but enough to cause a small algae bloom.
With that all said, is there anything simple out there that will shut off a plug via a float switch installed in the skimmer cup.
I'm not looking for anything expensive because I will add a controller in the future that can take care of this but it's not in the cards right now.
Thanks
Ray
