I was just told that 1/8”wall SS square tubing will cost me around 1/10 the cost of an 80/20 stand can anyone tell me if this plan will be strong enough? the stand will be 48x28x36” tall. I’d like to use 1 1/2”x1 1/2” with a doubler under the top 48 ,and a knees in the 8 upper corners. Or 11/2 x3 for the upper frame. The pic is my version of a 3D drawing. Any suggestions would be great.
