Sump question

More like a gph of drain question but it's for my new sump refuge setup. So I have a 1100 gph return pump. I have 2-10g tanks one for skimmer and what not draining into another 10 gallon. ( 2-3/4" drains) then pumped back up to the display. Question is how many gph does a 3/4" drain via gravity? And via syphon? I'm plumbing it tomorrow and want to make sure it will handle the flow.

Have you looked at the head on your return to estimate your actual GPH on the return?

My 3170 GPH return pump only does about 1000 GPH after head loss. I have 3 total drains, 2 1" siphons with gate valves for fine tuning and one emergency drain that is 1.25". The e-drain can handle the full return amount which is a nice safety net.

Set it up today looks way better and way more functional than the other sump.

Thank you! Need a bigger refuge. And not alot of room under a 3' tank so you gutta do what you gutta do.
