Amazon but they seem to be discontinued and I’m one short for my future mixing station

They look nice. I can’t bring myself to buy the overpriced brs cepex ones.

Grainger got some choices but they are also expensive.

Will say I did not expect to spend as much as I did on plumbing. I would have double check but think I’m in the $500 range. Still sounds crazy when I say it. Fittings kill ya

Day one of tank transfer. Started around 1pm it’s now 8:30 and live stock is in. Full day of equipment tomorrow. Just life support for now

Nice
I’ve done a few and helped in a couple of transfers and they’re really time consuming.
Good luck with the rest tomorrow

Thanks got most things done for now. Still waiting on some equipment (lights and a bunch new apex gear). So a lot of “temp” things for now

Did a bit of aquascaping. Still not completely happy but I’ll keep working. I will say having slowly adding water volume over time to my original reef seems to have made it an easy transition for livestock. Only small issue is a bit of diatoms here and there. But sandbed needs some time to mature I guess. Nitrates are at 5 phosphate near 0. Time for some drywall work and hopefully some new equipment will follow shortly. Purple tang loves the extra space. He is all over tank front and center he never did that in the 75.

So here’s where I’m at. Most equipment installed but possibly never done in this hobby. Always trying to make things run better I’m having a few issues but nothing major.
Still having lingering cyno here and there. Getting good flow over the areas blows the sand around and covers corals. It’s a battle. I manually remove it daily.
Also trying to get my alk right with the doser. It’s weird cause even though tank is so much bigger my calc and mag dosing is virtually the same as it was with the 75. But alk is crazy more. Like 2-3 times as much. So a lot of slow adjusting to dial in. I usually run 450 calc 9.5 alk and 1400 mag. Phosphate are 0 and nitrate less than 5. But alk has dropped to near 8. Also ph has suffered as a result. But in the end I know it doesn’t happen overnight. I’d rather be just stocking tank but wang to dial everything in first.
