Well it’s been a long time coming but we are finally ready to downsize. We ended up getting a really good deal on a used Elos 70. I am very excited and will be getting a light shortly. Believe it or not I got a 24” 4 Bulb ATI Powermodule for $250.00 I thought it was a typo. The guy was super and he even sent me videos of the light running and even going through the demo / test modes.
I had some left over Fiji Premium LR that I never used and I let it dry out after it was cured so we started with that. My wife swung by Love the Reef and picked me up some Aquaforest Stone Fix that I was amazed how good it worked. No more putty for me!
I will try photos of the rock scape, I am thinking about picking up a decent sized piece of Tonga Branch to create a bit more height.. I will seed the tank with some of the LR out of my 90 before it is broken down and I will pull the rock rumble out of my sump and put it into the new tank.
We are going to get a small cabinet and attach it to the L side of the tank stand that will have a door access to house all of the controls for the Doser, MP40, controllable DC Return Pump and Temperature controller.
We will be painting the stand & small side cabinet with some milk paint, (color to be determined) and we will be picking up some brushed stainless door pulls in a nautical theme for the door on the stand and cabinet.
This weekend will be spent creating a custom wall mount for the lights.
