So I need to deep clean my filter sock and I see people using bleach to brake down the built up organics. But I'm think of trying citric acid to do this instead. What do you guys think about this? It cleans my pumps really well and figured it should do the same thing and its safer. Idk maybe I'm just being lazy lol

Socks are simple in my mind so any product you mentioned will do the job.

what r u cleaning ur pumps of? r u dismantling the pumps to clean? r u soaking or brushing them with a str8 concentration?

Not the same thing. Bleach targets organics and citric acid will target calcium hence the use of it to get coraline algae off of things.
