Vermetid snails

I have some vermetid snail. Can I get rid of them by just crushing them with bone cutters. Or could I glue them shut. If any one base suggestions it would be appreciated

I bought 2 bumblebee snails in my little nano and theyve since disappeared. I cant say i saw them eat them but my guess is yes. I read they do .
