Man… what a crazy hobby this is?! A lot of stress and late night researching. A lot of question asking and random theory testing. I recently, maybe temporarily defeated a bad Dino outbreak. That was so nerve wracking that it almost took me out the game LOL. It’s real what they say.. avg time span people spend in this hobby is under a year. I’ve dealt with deaths, Cyano, Dino, ich and scary parasites I wasn’t prepared for in these 8 months. All to say, it’s been a great 8 months. Once a battle is won, the feeling of success and proud husbandry just warms me up lol. I wanted to share some shots I took tonight. I’m really happy with where my tank is heading. The aesthetic coral layout alongside the rockscape is finally coming to life. Now only prayers to keep things stabile and this ecosystem happy. But boy is this hobby beautiful. I love all 100 of my frags individually lol. Hopefully will see some growth soon!

Looking great! don’t let your guard down as only bad things happen in this hobby fast. I think that’s why we are all here, we really like the challenges and research required to be successful and of course the beauty of it all.

When I picked up the red sea nano from your house, I thought your tank looked amazing. That was only 3 or 4 months ago. You obviously have a talent for the hobby - don't give up.

Thank you for the kind words Gary! Hope your build with the nano is going well!

Looking good! It is all about stability in the long run you will save a lot of headaches. Having a plan for keeping the temp up when it is winter, down when it is summer, keeping CA/ALK stable and keeping an eye on it (automated testers are a game changer here) and being cautious about where you get fish/coral from and dipping coral/throwing out bases.

I look forward to seeing more of your success!

Definitely trying to keep all parameters stable! Trident throws me off sometimes because it can venture off with the readings but I try to just track trends rather than every 6 hr test point. Thank you for your support!
