Seeing FAMA listed there brings back a lot of memories. It was the George Smit articles in the 1986 issues that got me to set up my first mini- reef. Marine Fish Monthly was also another great magazine, but I miss FAMA the most. We had to build our own filler systems and waterproof lighting back then. Actinic 03 lighting was almost unheard of at the time, and it had to be special ordered from the light company.
