fish suggestion

HI gang,

having a hard time with fish selection for my 30Pro
Currently just 2 perc clowns for which I will get a BTA

I would like to add a blue spot jaw fish down the line but given those 2 fishes.
I ws thinking of adding a yellow watchman gobie but not sure how well that would get along with the jaw.
what would you suggest that is/are swimmers and visible and showy ( not damsels, not pajama cardinals) maybe bangaiis, but is 3 too much for this tank? .

How about a yellow coris wrasse? Great fish in my opinion. They are smaller fish 3-4 inches but would work in your setup. Don’t let their size fool you because it will always be on the move. Gives you something to watch. Also he’ll with pests but in my experience peaceful with tank mates.

Blennies would work although they do stay more towards the bottom and a Blood red fire shrimp would be a great addition, adding interest and color

Yes it’s a Hippo. For quantity of fish I would suggest no more than four to five fish for your 30 gallon. Curious is this a fish only tank?
No, It already has some shrooms and some GPS and a recovering small goni. I would like to add a clam maybe but mostly softies and a few LPS.

Read up on blue spotted jaw fish. Mine kept moving all my corals around to build up his hole. They need really deep sand. I would do the watchman goby

The fish that's furthest to the left in this photo is a Midas blenny
Really, I've never seen a Midas with blue, that yellow, and purple head!? I thought they were always that gold yellow - THUS the name? (the one circled?

How about a pair of high finned red banded gobbies hosting a pistol shrimp. +1 on the yellow wrass. Great fish.
