Great! I love that setup.

My tank, filtration setup, powerhead, about 1/3 of my rock, and just about all of my corals are from members here. My light was too before I upgraded.

Got the first corals and a pair of clown fish for the tank over the weekend everything seems to be doing fine so far. Also borrowed the par meter and got some readings from throughout the tank. I think there is a good variety of light levels that will hopefully let me keep a verity of corals from soft to sps

Hi all,
So my tank is still doing well didn’t add anything last weekend but did a water change levels all seem steady. I was definitely over feeding at the beginning as my nitrates are stuck at 10-12 even with weekly water changes.
I wanted to get some opinions on stocking.
I’m trying to keep at least the fish and most of the corals captive bred. (This is just personal preference as I’d rather not take anything out of the ocean until I know that I can do a really good job caring for it).

This is what I’m looking at. I know it’s heavy stocking and I’m not really planning to do everything on the list it’s just stuff that I like
Pair clowns black and white snowflake and domino. (Have)
Yellow watchman gobby (Have)
File fish dwarf spotted ( I have this on order but is going to take a while. Don’t know what ORA’s breeding schedule is like)
Red Sea mimic blenny ( I have this on order but is going to take a while. Don’t know what ORA’s breeding schedule is like).
Court jester goby (would this compete with a Mandarin?)
Fork tail blenny or some other fang blenny.
Dwarf angle? (Coral beauty)
Mandarin(would like to get later but obviously need a good pod population to do that)

What do you all think about this list. Is it too many fish what would you add or cut out? I know the angel is a risk. I may be willing to take that risk but it will be one of the last fish anyway so I can make that decision then.

The Petco in Needham has an aiptasia eating filefish I believe they get ORA. Adam the fish manager would know he’s super knowledgeable. They also had a great looking half black mimic tang it’s small and would fit nicely in your tank for the next couple of years. I would have grabbed him but I have a red stripe angel and didn’t want aggression. Adam does a good job with fish care, not all Petco’s are the same.
