Looking for Help with tank Move

Hi fellow Refeers,
I'm looking to upgrade from my current RedSea 250 set up to a larger tank. I'm looking to see if I can get a couple of folks to help with tank move. I'm in conversation to buy a RedSea S550 G2+, it's a 118 Gallon tank. The dimension is 47" x 27" x 26", I think it weighs around 360 lbs. Also need to move the stand and sump which are less of a challenge than the tank.

The tank is located in Coventry, RI and I'm moving it to Bedford, MA. I've asked a couple of vendors but the cost is just too prohibitive given the distance, so here's what I'm thinking:

• I'll rent one of those van (e.g., home Depot van) and drive down there. I'm hoping I can get a couple of folks local near RI to help me move the tank, sump and stand out from the house and load them to the van.
• I'll drive the van back to Bedford, MA and hoping I can get a couple of folks to help unload from the van and bring them into the house.

The tank is located on the 1st floor, straight from the main door and there are probably 4-5 steps down from the main house to the walkway (see picture). I'm thinking to find maybe 4-6 suction cups and need 3-4 folks (myself included) for the move in both locations? This is my 1st move, any thought from a much more experience folks?

I'm thinking of doing it next Saturday, January 18th, likely in the morning. So putting a feeler if anyone will be willing to help. Happy to provide lunch, case of beer . Thank you for looking.

I can help in bedford, see if someone can lend u suction cups, will help moving the tank much easier. Last time i check the home depot truck tental is only for customers that made purchase at their store to rent. U may want to looking into a uhaul truck or borrow a pick up from someone.

@Duds @FishieBusiness you guys are roughly 1 hr away from Coventry, so really really appreciate you guys willing to help. @robbie c has also agreed to help in RI (thx Rob), so I think I have enough folks to help in Coventry.

And I’m also good for Bedford, with @Owen386 @robbie c @TPhan helping, again truly appreciate the generosity. LOVE this community.

Hi @Owen386 thx for the heads up, will definitely let u know if we need to shift to Sunday. @robbie c is sick right now as well thinking of waiting till Wed night to decide if I need to reschedule or proceeding.
