Pop Pom crab

Came home today to find my absolute favorite reef creature (who I thought was long gone well over a year ago) cheering on some teen only she can see.

I have one, I thought I lost her - saw her twice since I put her in the tank (maybe in a year or so). Wish I can see her more often.

I use to see mine at night when I ran a lunar cycle. Perhaps she comes out more thanI know since I don’t look in the tank as much at night without the moonlight.

I'm kind of surprised that the anemones survive. Is there any trick to keeping them (other than accepting that you won't see them often)?

None that I know of. I’ve been really lax on maintenance the last few months since I’m breaking the tank down in a few weeks and clearly she’s still going strong. I do know they don’t always come with anemones. So I don’t think I’d order one on line. I was planning on adding a few in my new build in hopes of upping my sightings. Is yours missing an anemone? I heard they can split them
