Starting my 40G Breeder plumbing and have questions about returns. I’ve seen the return Jets. Back of tank will be black and overflow is black. Should I have 2 returns one on either side coming into tank? Does the return jet that has an elbow connect to PVC. Sorry have so many questions

two ways to install, drill for a bulkhead that you can attach PVC to or plumb up over the back of the tank. I agree one return is enough, use in tank options for more flow like gyre or powerheads ect.
