Hello reefers it's been years since I have done a build or been very active on the site and with my tank move I am really ready to get back in gear!!
My tank has been running for a few years and has gone threw alot with exs and lightning but now everything is back on track and it's time to move!! Tank is a custom euro braced 60x30x30 with a 6foot 150g sump in my basement.

Light
3x radion gen4 pros
4x 60in t5

Flow
2x mp60
2xmp40
L1 return
Full apex trident and 2xdos

Skimmer
Royal exclusive alpha 250
Finnex heaters 3x500w

Tank is currently running and plan is to Sunday move the display and Monday move my sump. It's definitely alot to move and definitely am looking for more help. If any one is available Sunday 2-4 just to help move tank in lancaster in to truck or bellingham to help unload on to stand at new house. I can have pizza and beverages and refreshments. The tank is pretty full of rock and coral and fish it's gonna be a fun move! I am planning on selling off some corals after move to have room for a baby shark. This summer construction starts on family room for 120x48x30 shark reef tank. This tank now will beable for me to hatch a egg and get him on the right path before a huge tank! My girlfriend really wants a spotted bamboo shark and want a epeluet knowing the epeluet will be easier to keep will have the bamboo eating for a it before adding second. I am thinking of ordering the tank from custom aquariums.
Last night i got my mixing towers to new house and will move my rodi to have them full salt ready to go for my move plan on haveing 200g on hand.

The sump will be where the step stool is and tower will be next to the hot water heater but want out of the way for the move still have some furniture to move out of the way also.

Tank is missing me have only been feeding every other day for past 2 weeks not even really cleaning the glass as I know it's gonna get a big cleaning during the move.
Is anyone interested in helping?

Gonna be sweet once you get the shark tank going! It's gonna be a beast to move that thing, I wish I was around to help but I'm out of town this weekend. Good luck!

Decided I need a new stand for my sump. Thinking a better stand will make it look nicer and found a great deal on a tank/stand. Will be posting tank 150g center over flow Friday evening when I pick it up. Just going to need to make a small stand for my paxbellum c30.

Gotta love the friendships we make along the way here. Great job guys.

It's definitely a learning curve with a shark. I have learned alot in since getting the shark and what he likes. He hates stuff in his way rocks corals anything so project 1 was eliminated everything from the bottom of the tank and give him as much room as possible. In doing so I am now adding a frag tank in the basement. The excess of corals on the bottom is probably my biggest reef issue and the shark solves it.
Has any here kept a shark and have any tips??

Glass IMO. I’ve never used an acrylic tank personally, but I’ve heard horror stories about how easily acrylic tanks scratch…though I know you’re going for ~1,000 gals so weight is an important factor

So kids throwing stufftl and scratches are fixable with acrylic is what making me consider it I have owned a Acrylic reef imo and is 10x clearer then the clearest glass.

Nice! I’d cover those lolly columns….theyll rust out ….happened to me. That’s gonna be an awesome tank!
