Progress to date. The light is around 14k in-person though appears very actinic in photos.

Looking good! I recently picked one of these up too. Doing a zoa garden themed tank.
Would make for a sweet zoa tank. What are your plans for fish? I’m trying to find a fish or cool shrimp/crab that won’t jump as i’d prefer to keep the tank open top.

I've currently got a high fin goby and pair of pistol shrimp. I'm thinking about a Tanaka's possum wrasse next.

I diy'd a screen top (that I do not care for).

Looking great! Are you using an eductor (for increased flow) or a random flow generator nozzle? Which return pump? I also have a mini peninsula 15. I'm running a sicce 1.0 with the Innovative marine spin stream. The spin stream is good for turbulence, but it completely kills the flow rate. Using a nero3 for additional flow.

I love your aquascape!

Thanks! It’s a dual nozzle eductor but also supposed to be a random flow generator - got it on Etsy. I mainly wanted a bit more directional flow though I do have an MP10 in there at like 30% I could increase if I wanted. The return pump is a Tunze 1073.008 which I think is the same size as the Sicce 1.0 but a little more gph.

I took your advice and put the Pandora’s on isolation island lol

Haha good!

I think I may need to replace my return pump soon. I recently had a brief power outage and it didn't turn back on, then I messed with it a little bit and it turned back on when I plugged it back in. I'd hate to have it done while I was away from the house. Do you like the Tunze? Does it fit well in the third chamber?

The Tunze 1073.008 is a tight fit but does fit and is farily silent. Mine came with a broken ceramic impeller shaft though the vendor (inTank) replaced it with a stainless steel shaft and it’s working great.

My back chamber about 5” under a shelf so access to the back chamber is a PITA since I cant reach my hand to the bottom (so hard to pull pump suction cups off) though With better access I don’t see any issues.

I think the Tunze is 250gph vs about 200gph for the Sicce 1.0

Cool! I will check it out!

Tanks making some nice progress - running out of space :)
