Not sure this is specifically what your asking. I find each salt mix is a little different. Different amounts salts required for different salt mixes to get a specific gravity you want.
I always use 1/2 cup per gallon as a starting point. Not sure if math is right but if you looking for rough estimate.

However..
Could you guys show me the math formular. Or some references to where it says 50ppt =50 gram/liter.
That will help alot.
This is my 4th grader son's science fair project and therefor we need to show what formular that he use to come up with the numbers/units and not base on what we reefers say or guess.
