Questions about my current return pump and possible replacement/addition(s):
1) On the system I just bought it came with a Jebao DCP-5000. It's missing an o-ring on the return/output side. Anyone know if you can buy replacement parts for these? (I know Jebao is basically a one-off, hope you get one that works, just replace it if it fails.) Looking for said o-ring and/or additional connectors.
2) Thinking of opening the wall back up and running 1 or 2 tubes to the basement just to facilitate water changes. I don't want to spend $500 on a gargantuan pump to go up one floor (say 14-15 ft). I was thinking maybe a Jebao DCP-6500 or DCP-8000. Any input?
3) Anyone know what the latest Jebao pumps are? I see the DCQ, and Dong mentioned the DCA which I can't seem to find? (Is DCA the blue pumps? Something like DC Marine Aqua Pump)
4) What other pumps are quiet, relatively cheap, good quality, etc.?
Ideally I'd like to have one running the tank and the other for the water changes. Then if then one on the tank dies I can swap in the water change one and get a replacement while I hoof buckets up/down the stairs.
Thanks.
